First in a weekly series! We will travel the entire 400-mile course being used for The Foundation For Tomorrow's RideTZ donor bike ride. The course begins at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro, heads east past the Mkomazi Game Reserve, traverses the Usambara Mountain range and down to the coastal town of Pangani on the Indian Ocean.
Taking you along for the ride: Ake Lindstrom and Nangini Lukumay from Summits Africa and Emily Cottingham from TFFT.
Witness the beauty that Tanzania has to offer along the route. Riders will take on the challenging terrain while providing African orphans with the education they need to help their homeland grow.
Check back for additional albums that will be posted leading up to the ride this July.
In Volume 1, we leave TFFT headquarters in Arusha, and after a visit to TFFT flagship school Usa River, we embark on the ride heading along the edge of the Maasai Steppe. This is a large plateau in Tanzania.
